A negative-pressure enclosure built along an office corridor for Class A removal of asbestos insulation board, with decontamination unit, airlock and air monitoring throughout.
Asbestos insulation board (AIB) is friable, so its removal is Class A work. SES sheeted and sealed the affected corridor and rooms into a negative-pressure enclosure, set up a three-stage decontamination unit and airlock, and removed the board under full controls.
Air monitoring ran throughout, and an independent assessor inspected and air-tested the enclosure before it was dismantled and the office handed back.
