How an emergency call-out works
- Step 01
Call, any hour
A technician, not a call centre, takes the details and gives you make-safe advice on the phone.
- Step 02
On site fast
Auckland typically within two hours for emergencies; other regions same or next day. Assessment, photos and moisture or contamination readings.
- Step 03
Contain, clean, verify
Isolation, removal, cleaning and sanitising, then testing or clearance where a standard applies.
- Step 04
Report and reinstate
Insurer-ready report with photos and readings; repairs and repainting through SES Property Maintenance.

What specialist cleaning costs
Emergency attendance is charged as a call-out plus hourly rates; scoped jobs such as mould remediation, meth decontamination and trauma clean-up are fixed price after assessment.
Most work is insurance-claimable - we bill your insurer directly where they agree.

Why insurers, landlords and property managers call SES
Flood and fire damage often expose the hazards behind the hazard - and SES is the one contractor licensed for all of them.
- Licensed for the hazards behind the hazard - flood and fire damage often expose asbestos or lead; our Class A & B crews deal with it on the same job.
- Standards, not opinions - meth to NZS 8510, mould with clearance testing, biohazard to industry protocols, documented every time.
- One supplier to reinstatement - clean-up, repairs and repainting through one SES contract.
Specialist cleaning across Auckland and the North Island
Auckland-based crews, with regular work in Hamilton and the Waikato, Whangarei and Northland, Napier-Hastings and Wellington.
Specialist cleaning FAQs
Straight answers to the questions procurement teams, facilities managers and property owners ask us most. If yours is not here, call the office or send us the scope and a division lead will answer it directly.
Are you really available 24/7?
Yes for emergencies - flood, fire, contamination, trauma. Call 021 639 196 and you will speak to a technician.
Will my insurance cover it?
Usually, for sudden events such as floods, fires and contamination discovered on purchase or tenancy change. We provide the report and invoice in the format insurers ask for.
Do you clean up, or also repair?
Both. Clean-up and decontamination by this division; reinstatement by SES Property Maintenance under the same job.
Can I stay in the property during the work?
Depends on the contamination. We tell you at assessment; meth and significant mould jobs usually mean vacating the affected rooms.
Do you work for commercial and government sites?
Yes - clinical, defence and corporate sites with inductions and security clearances in place.
Urgent? Call. Otherwise, tell us what happened.
Send photos and the address and a technician will come back within the hour in business time, or first thing next morning.
